Swimming Pool Assistant Manager \n Bognor Regis \n 30-34k DOE \n Single Person Accommodation Provided \n \n The Assistant Manager for Splash will support the day-to-day management & operation of the resort swimming pool and water-based facilities, ensuring a safe, clean and engaging environment for guests & team. \n \n The Splash Assistant Manager leads the front-line team, maintains compliance with health and safety standards, and helps deliver a high-quality guest experience in line with brand expectations. \n KPIs \n\n • H&S compliance and audit results\n, • Incident rates\n, • Guest satisfaction scores\n, • Team engagement and retention\n, • Pool downtime\n, • Training compliance\n, • Cleanliness and presentation standards\n\n General Duties & Key Accountabilities \n \n Operational Management \n\n • Support the daily operation of all pool and water feature areas.\n, • Ensure adequate lifeguard and team coverage across all operating hours.\n, • Assist in planning rotas aligned to occupancy and demand.\n, • Monitor poolside standards including cleanliness, water quality and presentation.\n, • Respond quickly to operational issues to minimise disruption.\n, • Support delivery of poolside activities, sessions and guest experiences.\n\n \n Health, Safety & Compliance \n \n\n • Ensure full compliance with pool safety operating procedures (PSOP) and H&S legislation.\n, • Carry out and review risk assessments and safe systems of work.\n, • Monitor water testing regimes and ensure records are maintained.\n, • Support emergency response procedures and incident management.\n, • Ensure all team members hold valid qualifications and training.\n, • Support audits, inspections and compliance checks.\n\n \n Team Leadership \n \n\n • Supervise and support lifeguards and pool team members on shift.\n, • Provide coaching, training and performance feedback.\n, • Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training.\n, • Manage shift briefings and ensure clear communication.\n, • Address day-to-day people issues and escalate where required.\n, • Promote a positive, inclusive and safety-first culture.\n\n \n Guest Experience \n \n\n • Ensure a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.\n, • Support delivery of poolside activities and resort programming.\n, • Handle guest queries and complaints professionally.\n, • Monitor guest feedback and support improvements.\n, • Ensure accessibility and inclusion standards are met.\n\n \n Administration & Planning \n \n\n • Support stock control for pool chemicals, equipment and uniforms.\n, • Assist with budgets and cost control.\n, • Maintain accurate records for training, incidents and compliance.\n, • Support maintenance planning with facilities teams.\n, • Deputise for the Pool Manager when required.\n\n Experience & Qualification Requirements \n\n • NPLQ (or equivalent lifeguard qualification)\n, • Experience in a leisure or pool environment\n, • Experience supervising or leading a team\n, • Strong understanding of pool safety and operations\n, • Good communication and organisational skills\n, • Ability to work shifts including evenings/weekends\n, • Confident decision-making in fast-paced environments\n, • Safety-first mindset\n, • Visible and supportive leader\n, • Calm under pressure\n, • Guest-focused\n, • Team player\n, • Attention to detail\n, • Proactive and organised\n\n GET IN TOUCH MULTIPLE LEISURE ROLES AVAILABLE
