    Job Title: Support Worker Location: London and Kent area. (Please note that work location may vary in line with company and service needs). Reports To: Supported Living Manager Employment Type: Full time (Shift-based, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins where required) *NOT SUITABLE FOR CANDIDATES REQUIRING COS SPONSORSHIP NOW, OR IN THE FUTURE* Role Purpose: The Support Worker plays a vital role in delivering high quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of needs. The role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, choice, and community inclusion, while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users at all times. Key Responsibilities Person Centered Support • Provide day-to-day support to service users in line with individual care and support plans, • Promote independence, life skills, and social inclusion, • Support service users with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks where required, • Encourage participation in community activities, education, training, and employment opportunities Health, Safety, and Wellbeing • Safeguard the physical and emotional wellbeing of service users, • Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and medication procedures, • Accurately record and report incidents, concerns, and changes in service user needs, • Work in line with CQC standards, company policies, and statutory requirements Communication and Teamwork • Work collaboratively with supervisors, colleagues, families, and external professionals, • Maintain professional boundaries and respectful relationships at all times, • Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and mandatory training Transport and Community Access • Support service users to attend appointments and community activities, • Drive service users where required as part of their support plan Essential Requirements • Must have the right to work in the UK, • Must NOT require Certificate of Sponsorship now or in the future, • Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence, • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both written and verbal, • A caring, patient, and reliable approach to supporting others, • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Desirable Experience • Previous experience in health or social care, • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, or complex needs, • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and person centred care What We Offer • Supportive management and supervision, • Ongoing training and development opportunities, • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, • Career progression within a growing organisation Qualifications • Experience as a Support Worker and knowledge of safeguarding practices is essential, • Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills to build supportive relationships, • Strong command of the English Langauge, • Technical support skills to assist clients with basic digital or technological needs, • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, • Willingness to learn and adapt to client-specific requirements, • Previous experience in a care or support role is advantageous but not mandatory, • Relevant certifications in care or support work are beneficial Disclaimer This job description is not exhaustive.     Domiciliary Care Manager – Job Description: Job Overview HA24 Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Domiciliary Care Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality home care services within the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, supervising care staff, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, and promoting outstanding person-centred care for service users living in their own homes. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the domiciliary care service to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care delivery. Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual service user needs. Conduct initial assessments, risk assessments, and regular care reviews. Recruit, supervise, support, and mentor care staff to maintain high professional standards. Prepare staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet service user requirements. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and company policies. Monitor care quality through spot checks, audits, observations, and service user feedback. Investigate incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records, reports, and care documentation. Promote a culture of dignity, respect, equality, and person-centred care. Support staff training and continuous professional development. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience within domiciliary care or homecare management. Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and care compliance requirements. Experience in staff supervision, recruitment, and performance management. Ability to manage care packages, rotas, and operational responsibilities effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of medication management and care planning processes. Compassionate and professional approach to supporting vulnerable adults. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 or Level 5 in Health & Social Care (preferred). Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within domiciliary care. Enhanced DBS check required. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
