Im currently recruiting for an Oncology Healthcare Center Nurse to join a highly respected clinical service provider delivering specialist care across the community in Newcastle. The Role As an Oncology Healthcare Center Nurse, youll play a vital role in supporting patients through their treatment journeyproviding high-quality clinical care via mobile units or local clinics in your area. You will be responsible for: • Administering IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies, • Carrying out blood draws, toxicity assessments, and cannulation, • Managing central lines, pump disconnections, and injections (IM/SC), • Delivering safe, compassionate care in line with clinical protocols, • Salary of £43,700, • Fully expensed company car and fuel card, • Annual bonus scheme, • 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays), • Private medical insurance, • Company pension scheme, • Laptop, mobile phone and personal safety device, • NMC fees paid (after one year of service), • Ongoing training and development opportunities, • Access to employee assistance programme and wellbeing resources, • Refer-a-friend scheme (up to £1,200)About You To be considered for this role, you will: • Hold a valid NMC PIN, • Have experience in Oncology nursing, • Hold a recognised Oncology qualification, SACT passport, or equivalent in-house training, • Be competent in venepuncture and cannulation, • Have experience administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) across multiple routes, • Demonstrate a high level of care, empathy and professionalism
