I have teamed up with an organization in Blackburn that is looking for a new IT Technician to provide comprehensive 1st and 2nd Line support across all departments. This hands-on role involves delivering support over the phone, in person, or via remote software. Key responsibilities include maintaining the stock management of PCs, laptops, and mobile handsets; working with the IT Apprentice to manage the building of new hardware tailored to business needs; and assisting the business in the adoption of M365 services to ensure all employees have the technical support required to succeed within the M365 environment. Job Title: IT Technician Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 Location: Blackburn (Onsite) Job Type: Permanent Start: ASAP Technical Knowledge Experience with the following: • PC building and configurations, • Apple iOS, • Mobile Phone OS, • M365 applications, • M365 Administration, • Active Directory & Group Policy, • Printer fault fixing o Windows 11, • MDM knowledge (Intune/End point manager), • Networking fundamentals, • Remote access software and remote helpdesk support Desirable knowledge: • Switch configuration (Aruba), • Wireless Access points (Meraki), • Network management and fault finding, • VLAN configuration, • Physical network modes, ethernet, Fibre types, GBICS, • Active Directory & Group Policy
