Our Care Support Workers provide some of the most personal and fundamental support to our patients so if you feel the above is you then we want to hear from you. This post will be based in the Haemodialysis unit at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Please note, sponsorship is not available for this role. Main duties of the jobYou will work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide a positive experience to our patients and their relatives at times of need. You will support patients in various ways such as:- toileting- bed making- helping people to mobilise- assisting with patients' overall comfort- providing encouragement to lifestyle and behaviour changes- Replenishing stock supplies - Preparing and cleaning dialysis equipmentIt's really important to consider that some aspects of healthcare work can be distressing and unpleasant. You will be expected to help patients with personal care without being embarrassed or feeling awkward.
