"Together we will create safer, healthier, and more sustainable spaces." Pennington Choices is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to join our dynamic asbestos division. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality asbestos analysis and surveying services, ensuring all work meets client expectations, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards. This role offers a diverse mix of site-based and office-based work across various projects, providing the opportunity to develop your technical expertise and contribute to a forward-thinking, quality-driven team. About the role: Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys across a range of client sites. Perform asbestos analytical services, including air monitoring, fibre counting, and bulk sample analysis. Provide professional advice and guidance to clients on asbestos-related matters. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of asbestos legislation, UKAS accreditation, and health & safety regulations. Work flexibly between office and client sites, ensuring timely and accurate project delivery. Take personal responsibility for maintaining technical expertise and meeting productivity and billing targets. Adhere to company quality management and audit programmes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Act as a positive ambassador for the company, promoting an open, honest, and collaborative culture. Engage proactively in training and development, contributing to a learning organisation that embraces innovation and change. You'll have access to a fully equipped mobile laboratory van to support your work on site, whether carrying out surveys or air monitoring. Key Criteria: You must hold the BOHS P402 qualification (Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings). BOHS P403 and/or P404 qualifications are desirable. Extensive experience in a customer facing Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst role for a UKAS-accredited company IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex issues clearly Keen, self-motivated, and confident approach to work Commitment to teamwork, analytical work, and quality-focused delivery Reliable with a strong customer focus Full UK driving licence Benefits we can offer you: Flexible and hybrid working options (where applicable). 26 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (rising with service).
