Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including hotels and commercial spaces. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Carry out tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure they are hygienic and welcoming.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns from clients or guests.
Assist in the preparation of food items as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
