Commercial Real Estate Lawyer | Chelmsford / Hybrid \n\n Top 50, award winning, national law firm with over 700 lawyers nationally wishes to recruit a newly or recently qualified Commercial Real Estate Lawyer in their Chelmsford office. \n\n Due to continued growth, are looking to add a Solicitor/Associate to assist with a busy caseload within the Charity Real Estate team which comprises of two senior lawyers who specialise in advising charities and other not-for-profit organisations on their land and property dealings. \n\n The Role: \n\n This role offers the opportunity for one-on-one learning and mentoring but also plenty of scope for you to work with colleagues across the firm and make the role your own, with a clear path for career advancement. \n\n Your responsibilities: \n\n\n\t • Buying and selling property for investment or occupational purposes\n\t, • Landlord and tenant issues for charities and not for profits\n\t, • Strategic development\n\t, • Compliance with charity law in the context of land and property\n\t, • Collaborative work on complex projects with the Charities team, such as the property aspects of charity mergers, incorporations, restructures and closures\n\n\n About You: \n\n\n\t • Qualified Solicitor\n\t, • NQ - 4 years' PQE \n\t, • Experience within a strong regional, national or City firm\n\t, • Experience in some or all of the following real estate areas; Commercial landlord and tenant work, Investment and asset management, General commercial property development\n\t, • Experience of acting for banks and/or borrowers in secured lending matters\n\t, • Knowledge of providing property support as part of corporate transactions\n\t, • No prior experience of charity law is necessary as this can be taught.\n\n\n Salary and Benefits: \n\n\n\t • 25 days holiday (FTE) plus Bank Holidays (rising to 30 days)\n\t, • Long Service holiday award – 1 extra week every 10 years continuous service\n\t, • Private Healthcare with BUPA (offered after probation is passed)\n\t, • Scottish Widows Pension Scheme (5% employer / 5% Employee)\n\t, • Staff Profit Share and Individual Performance Bonus Scheme\n\t, • Salary sacrifice (Pensions, Staff Profit Share)\n\t, • Life Assurance - 4 x salary / Permanent Health Insurance\n\t, • Paid CSR Day\n\t, • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity Leave\n\t, • Subsidised gym membership\n\t, • Electric car scheme\n\t, • Agile/Hybrid Working Policy\n\t, • Dress for your Day Policy\n\n\n Apply Now: \n\n Please use the apply button below to submit your CV.
