Overview \n We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Registered Manager to support the leadership and operational management of a reputable care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in a residential care, home or nursing with a focus on residential care and dementia or Alzheimer’s care. The Deputy Registered Manager will work closely with the Registered Manager to uphold regulatory standards, develop care plans, and enhance service quality. \n Duties \n\n • Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations within the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.\n, • Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans that address residents' individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care.\n, • Supervise and mentor care staff, promoting best practices in medication administration, resident engagement, and safety procedures.\n, • Lead by example in delivering high standards of nursing and senior care, ensuring residents’ physical and emotional needs are met with dignity.\n, • Contribute to staff recruitment, training, and performance management to maintain a motivated and competent team.\n, • Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.\n, • Assist in managing medication administration processes accurately and safely within legal guidelines.\n, • Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement in resident care.\n\n Skills \n\n • Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care principles.\n, • Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s support strategies, and developing effective care plans.\n, • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a healthcare or residential setting.\n, • Strong understanding of medication management protocols within a care home setting.\n, • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.\n, • Effective communication skills for liaising with residents, families, staff, and external health professionals.\n, • Familiarity with regulatory standards governing care homes and home care services.\n, • Compassionate approach combined with proactive problem-solving capabilities to enhance resident well-being.\n, • Driven to improve the care home to an outstanding level\n\n Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing compassionate leadership and exceptional senior care!
