Are you personable, confident, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service?\nWe’re looking for a Training Coordinator to join our busy Licence Acquisition team on a full-time, fixed-term basis at our Bradford Head Office.\n\nThis Training Coordinator role is central to supporting drivers through their licence journey, ensuring progress is maintained and key milestones - particularly theory test bookings - are completed efficiently.\n\nThe role\n\nAs a Training Coordinator, you will deliver excellent customer service and after-sales support, playing a key role in ensuring a smooth, well-managed experience for drivers. You’ll proactively engage with drivers, provide clear guidance, and keep work-in-progress moving to avoid delays.\n\nThis opportunity is ideal for a Training Coordinator with strong customer service experience who enjoys working in fast-paced, process-driven environments such as transport, logistics, or resourcing. It also suits someone looking to take ownership of tasks and progress their career within a growing organisation.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing?\n\nAs a Training Coordinator, you will work independently and collaboratively to support drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:\n\n * Making outbound calls to drivers to support and book theory tests\n\n * Clearly explaining the theory test process and outlining next steps\n\n * Encouraging timely progression through the licence journey\n\n * Updating internal systems accurately after every interaction\n\n * Following up with drivers who have not responded to previous contact attempts\n\n * Ensuring all required confirmations (e.g. Terms & Conditions) are completed prior to booking\n\n * Escalating issues, risks, or delays to the Licence Acquisition team where appropriate\n\n * Maintaining a professional, supportive, and customer-focused approach at all times\n\nWhat we’re looking for?\n\nTo succeed as a Training Coordinator, you will ideally bring:\n\n * The ability to work independently and use your own initiative\n\n * Strong organisational and administrative skills\n\n * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities\n\n * Previous customer service experience with ownership of processes\n\n * Strong IT skills and the ability to learn bespoke systems quickly\n\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate Excel (data management, pivot tables, lookups)\n\n * A full UK driving licence\n\nExperience or knowledge of the transport and logistics sector, driver compliance, or licence acquisition would be highly advantageous, though not essential - full training will be provided.\n\nWhy work for Driver Hire?\n\nWe’re committed to fostering a positive and inclusive working environment where our people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.\n\nOur Training Coordinator rewards package includes:\n\n * Salary: £25,175.26 per annum\n\n * Contract: Fixed-term [12 month], full-time\n\n * Location: Bradford Head Office\n\n * Hybrid working, working hours: late shift – 11:00am to 7:00pm\n\n * Pension scheme\n\n * Healthcare scheme (post-probation)\n\n * 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)\n\n * An extra paid day off for your birthday\n\n * Free on-site parking\n\n * Optional paid volunteering day\n\nIn our most recent staff survey (December 2025), 96% of employees said they are proud or very proud to work for Driver Hire.\n\nInterested?\n\nIf this sounds like the right Training Coordinator opportunity for you, we’d love to hear from you.\nApply now - shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 14 days
