We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Delivery Lead for their Real-Time organisation. You will be a member of a product engineering delivery team supporting engineering teams moving to product led ways of working and organisation, acting as unifying and consistent leadership within the PDM roles primarily and their supporting teams as they age. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and deeply empathizes with internal and external customer needs. They are comfortable in conversation with engineering teams as well as customers ranging from developers to snr leaders. A key strength and quality required from the successful candidate is the curiosity and willingness to ask for clarification and leverage help if there are gaps in knowledge as we promote a continuous learning culture. Agile Delivery Lead Real-Time Engineering Role Purpose The Agile Delivery Lead enables predictable, high quality delivery across multiple RealTime Engineering squads. Supporting several Product Delivery Managers (PDMs), the role ensures squads operate effectively within agile ways of working, remove delivery impediments, and maintain alignment to engineering, product, and operational standards. This role drives flow, transparency, effective communication through embedding high-quality rapid feedback loops and and continuous improvement across squads working on low latency, high reliability RealTime systems. Key Responsibilities: Drive day to day delivery flow across multiple squads, ensuring commitments are met and blockers are removed quickly. Support Product Delivery Managers (PDMs) to maintain healthy backlogs, clear sprint goals, and realistic forecasting. Ensure squads uphold engineering and operational standards including Definition of Ready/Done, technical quality gates, CSP pipeline usage, and DevSecOps practices and drive accountability for effective use of tooling, including instilling good ticket hygiene.. CORPORATE Facilitate core ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives) where needed and establish contingency for enabling these to avoid key person dependencies.. Manage cross team dependencies, escalating only when required and tracking them to closure. Maintain delivery visibility across all assigned products, aligning sequencing, capacity, and risks. Support integration work across Real-Time Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Tooling teams. Provide timely, accurate delivery reporting to PDMs, RT Ops, and stakeholders. Ensure data in Clarity, Jira, and other delivery tools reflects the current delivery state. Track delivery risks, issues, and impediments with clear owners and mitigation plans. Behaviours & Expectations Promotes transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within squads. Acts as a servant-leader, enabling teams to deliver rather than directing from above. Calm under pressure, especially in fast-moving Real-Time operational contexts. Proactive in identifying and solving problems before they impact delivery. Team Health & Continuous Improvement Coach squads on agile behaviours, ceremonies, and principles to improve predictability and autonomy and improve flow. Champion continuous improvement by analysing delivery metrics and facilitating improvement actions. Strengthen collaboration between engineering, product, and vendors to support a cohesive delivery environment. XP Essential Proven XP delivering technology products using agile frameworks (examples might include, but are not limited to Scrum/Kanban/Lean). Strong delivery management skills across multiple concurrent squads or workstreams. Ability to manage cross team dependencies and maintain structured delivery governance. XP working with engineering teams in complex, high throughput or time critical environments. Strong communication skills with an ability to engage engineers, PDMs, stakeholders, and vendors. Data driven approach to delivery, using metrics and tooling to improve flow and forecasting. CORPORATE Desirable Familiarity with RealTime systems, low latency engineering, or financial market/market data domains. Understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform/toolchain engineering. XP managing multi-vendor delivery environments. Agile certifications (Scrum Master, Kanban Practitioner etc.) Qualifications and XP : 3-5+ years of XP in product management, product design or software engineering. XP translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products A working foundation in process frameworks Agile, DevOps and DevSecOps with XP in executing these in a highly automotive and high velocity output. Thought leader with a solid understanding of the key business drivers and customer dynamics in high-tech industries. Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fastpaced environment and able to influence multiple cross-departmental stakeholders. Analytical and quantitative skills, XP using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated XP engaging and influencing snr executives. Strong work ethic as team player and a willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done.
