We are looking for a strong Assistant Manager who can help lead the day to day operation, keep standards high and support the team in delivering a great service, every shift. This is a hands on role for someone who knows how to keep a restaurant running properly. You will be involved in the full operation, from preparing for service and managing stock, to leading the team on the floor and in the kitchen. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a key part in keeping the business organised, clean, compliant and ready for a busy service. If you are confident, reliable, operationally strong and know how to lead by example, we want to hear from you. What you’ll be doing • Preparing the restaurant for service and making sure everything is set up correctly, • Supporting and leading the team during service to ensure fast, friendly and accurate customer experience, • Managing day to day restaurant operations, both front and back of house, • Placing orders, checking deliveries and keeping stock under control, • Monitoring prep levels and making sure the kitchen is ready for service at all times, • Taking responsibility for cleanliness and organisation across the site, including daily cleaning and part level deep cleaning, • Making sure food safety and health and safety standards are followed at all times, • Supporting with rotas, team organisation and shift management, • Helping train and develop team members to maintain Monty’s standards, • Handling problems calmly and making sure the restaurant stays operationally strong throughout the day, • Keeping communication clear between the team and management What we’re looking for • Previous experience in a management or supervisor role within hospitality or fast paced food businesses, • Strong kitchen experience and a good understanding of food operations, • Confident with stock control, ordering, prep management and service readiness, • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures, • A strong leader who can motivate the team and lead by example, • Reliable, organised and able to stay calm under pressure, • Friendly, professional and confident with both customers and team members, • Someone with good energy, a practical mindset and the right attitude for a growing business, • Someone who fits the Monty’s vibe, relaxed, switched on and professional. We are looking for a strong Kitchen Manager who can lead from the front, keep the kitchen organised and make sure every service runs properly from start to finish. This is a hands on role for someone with strong cooking skills, solid kitchen management experience and a real understanding of how to keep standards high in a busy food business. You will be responsible for the day to day kitchen operation, making sure food is prepared correctly, the kitchen is clean and organised, stock is under control and the team is ready for service at all times. If you are reliable, switched on, take pride in your work and know how to run a kitchen properly, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a part time Kitchen Porter to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. You will be washing dishes, keeping the back of house clean and organised, helping with deliveries and making sure everything is ready for service. It is a hands on job and it can get busy, so we need someone reliable, quick and happy to work as part of a team. You do not need loads of experience, just a good attitude and willingness to work hard. If you take pride in doing things properly and want to be part of a friendly, fast paced kitchen, we would love to hear from you. Role Purpose: To support the team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety. The Kitchen Porter ensures the back of house runs smoothly, safely and efficiently during service. Key Responsibilities: • Wash dishes, utensils, gastronorm trays and small equipment quickly and correctly, • Operate dishwash machine safely, • Empty and clean bins, • Clean floors, walls, drains and surfaces following cleaning schedule, • Support basic food prep when required, • Assist with deliveries and storage rotation following FIFO, • Maintain grease trap checks, • Follow all health and safety and food safety procedures, • Report maintenance issues immediately, • Support the team during busy service periods Skills and Experience: • Experience in a kitchen environment, • Reliable and punctual, • Positive team attitude, • Ability to work in a fast paced environment Working Hours: • Part time If you take pride in doing things properly and want to be part of a friendly, fast paced kitchen, we would love to hear from you.
