Shift Leader – FM Service Provider – Wembley, London – Up to £58,000 per annum\n\n CBW is recruiting an experienced Shift Leader to join a prestigious multi-tenant commercial campus in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to work within a modern, technically challenging environment, delivering first-class building maintenance across a vibrant mixed-use estate occupied by a diverse range of commercial tenants.\n\n A valid HV Authorised Person (AP) qualification is a mandatory requirement for this position.\n\n Hours of Work\nContinental Shift Pattern – Days & Nights (7 on, 7 off rotation)Key Duties\nLead, motivate and support the on-site shift engineering team.\nEnsure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently using the site's CAFM system.\nCarry out hands-on electrical and/or mechanical maintenance when required.\nDiagnose and rectify faults on plant and equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring business continuity.\nMonitor the quality of maintenance activities, documentation and housekeeping standards across the site.\nManage spare parts and ensure critical stock levels are maintained.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, reports and job documentation.\nPrepare, review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safe systems of work.\nSupport the delivery of a safe, compliant and high-performing building environment.\nAct as the site's HV Authorised Person, carrying out switching operations and ensuring compliance with all electrical safety procedures.Requirements\nFully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).\nCurrent HV Authorised Person (AP) qualification (essential).\nPrevious experience working in a critical environment such as commercial offices, banking, data centres, healthcare, or other high-profile facilities.\nStrong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services.\nExperience with critical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers and power distribution.\nPrevious experience leading an engineering shift team within a critical or large commercial environment.\nExcellent fault-finding, communication and problem-solving skills.\nA proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional engineering standards
