The E-Commerce Manager plays a lead role in the continual development of our world class experience for our customers. Responsible for managing and optimising our online sales channels to deliver revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and ensure operational efficiency. This role oversees the end-to-end e-commerce operations, from website performance and product listings to digital marketing and customer journey optimisation. CUSTOMER / STRATEGY / PLAN Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with business objectives. Forecast online sales and set performance targets. Identify emerging trends, technologies, and customer behaviours to maintain competitive advantage. Oversee the functionality, design, and content of the e-commerce website. Ensure product catalogue accuracy, including descriptions, images, pricing, and stock availability. Manage platform integrations (payment gateways, CRM, ERP systems) Ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey, from browsing to checkout. PEOPLE / LEADERSHIP Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns across SEO, PPC, email, and social media. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy. Work closely with the customer support team to ensure smooth operations Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and technology partners. Support a culture of openness and shared ownership FINANCIAL / COMMERCIALS Track KPIs: traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost. Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, BI dashboards) to generate actionable insights. Prepare monthly performance reports and recommend improvements. Understand market dynamics and put forward suggestions for continuous improvements ESSENTIAL Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce). Understanding of digital marketing strategies and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush). Excellent project management and organisational skills. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities. Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
