    We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our vibrant Children's Nursery team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Your leadership will inspire staff, foster excellent communication with parents, and uphold high standards of childcare and early childhood education. Responsibilities • Assist the Nursery Manager in supervising daily nursery activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulatory standards., • Lead and motivate a team of childcare professionals, promoting teamwork, professional development, and a positive work environment., • Oversee the implementation of age-appropriate learning programs that support early childhood development and foster curiosity., • Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing concerns promptly., • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene protocols are rigorously followed to create a secure environment for children and staff alike., • Support staff recruitment, training, and performance appraisals to uphold high standards of childcare delivery., • Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements. Qualifications • Proven management experience within a nursery or childcare setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills., • Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare environments., • Knowledge of nursery regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in childcare management., • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members., • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and operational procedures., • Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred., • Valid driving license is advantageous for operational flexibility when required.
