They are now seeking an experienced Dry Cleaning Manager with a passion for high standards and sustainable practices. What we need from you as a Dry Cleaning Manager: • You must have previous experience working as a Manager, or other similar position in a dry-cleaning retail environment and understand dry cleaning and laundering processes, • Have a proven track record of managing a team, • Be able to communicate with staff and customers, • Be IT literate familiar with EPOS till systems etc, • You must be well organised and able to make decisions, • Have a knowledge of handling different types of textiles and fabrics, • Have numerical skills to cope with accounts, book-keeping and budgeting, • Hold a UK Driving Licence What the role involves: • Day-to-day running of the dry cleaning plant to ensure items are dispatched on time and cleaned to a very high standard, • Communicating with all the shops on a daily basis to ensure a smoothly run company, • You will be required to oversee staff recruitment, • You will need the ability to organise staffing of the plant and shops, • Have the ability to carry out staff training in all aspects of clothing care and customer care, • You will need to have a diplomatic manner in dealing with customers concerns, • You will need a working knowledge of the health and safety involved in the dry cleaning and laundering environment Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus scheme.
