Are you a passionate Personal Injury Solicitor looking to make a real difference in clients’ lives? Ashtons Legal is seeking a dedicated professional to join our award-winning team, based in one of our East of England offices: Cambridge, Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds About Us Ashtons Legal is a progressive, client-focused firm with a strong reputation across the region. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional legal advice with a personal touch. Our culture is open, collaborative and forward-thinking, with flexible rewards and benefits to match. Why Join Our Personal Injury Team? Our PI team is ranked Tier 1 by Legal 500 and Band 1 by Chambers & Partners. We’re known for handling everything from complex lower-value cases to catastrophic multimillion-pound claims. Clients and industry experts alike praise our diligence, compassion, and results. The Role You will work closely with our clients providing them with support on their cases. We would like you to have experience of dealing with “Multi-Track” personal injury cases. However, if your experience of Multi-Track work is limited, we would still be happy to discuss the role with you. Your work will consist of a mixed caseload of predominately Multi-Track RTA, EL and PL cases and you will be responsible for progressing these files from inception through to their conclusion (be that by way of negotiation or at trial). This will include providing updates to clients and where appropriate, liaising with witnesses, the police, insurers, HSE, solicitors, Case Managers, rehab providers, etc. It will involve gathering and analysing evidence / expert opinions and advising on liability, quantum and causation, as well as other aspects associated with PI claims. You will need to be client focussed and expected to “go the extra mile” to ensure that the best result (for the right reasons) is obtained. Access to early rehabilitation and support for our injured clients is at the heart of the service that we provide, so early engagement in (and familiarity with) the principles and benefits of rehabilitation is a crucial aspect of the role. What We’re Looking For • A qualified solicitor or a Chartered Legal Executive (FILEx) lawyer with a minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience. FILEx candidates must be authorised to carry out reserved legal activities, • Experience in Multi-Track PI cases (or willingness to develop), • Strong client focus and communication skills, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively You will require a driving licence and access to a car to ensure you are able to attend client homes or hospital at short notice
