Warehouse Operative Based in Crawley, West Sussex Salary: £25,500 per annum Successful Garage Door distribution and installation company seeks a full-time experienced Warehouse Operative. This is a great opportunity to play a key part in the busy warehouse team. The Role Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for general warehouse duties including picking and packing of orders, maintaining stock levels and assisting customers on the trade counter. Responsibilities will include; · Picking of customer orders to the highest standard · Packing of customer orders · Use of courier systems · Helping trade and retail customers on the trade counter · Maintain stock levels and stock checks · General warehouse maintenance · Assist with loading / unloading vehicles · Occasional garage door delivery driving Essential Skills/Competencies · Clean Driving Licence, a maximum of 3 points is acceptable · Warehouse background · Physically fit; heavy lifting involved. · Excellent communication skills · Ability to work alone and as part of a team · Trustworthy · Forklift licences desirable but not required Capital Garage Doors are wholesale distributors of garage doors, spares, automation and accessories. This is a flexible, full-time position (Mon-Fri - 08:30 – 17:30), requiring some early starts/late finishes with occasional overnight/away work. Based out of our HQ in Manor Royal, Crawley, applicants will need general proficiency in all aspects of AV disciplines. An ability work as part of a team, and unaided, be calm under pressure, take responsibility, multi-task and prioritise/manage applied workloads. A motivated self-starter, with relevant industry experience in Microsoft TEAMS & associated Video Conferencing, UC & Audio installations, with a proficiency to install hardware, software, and basic network-related problems. Applicants should be excellent communicators via telephone and email (Laptop & mobile provided), having meticulous attention to detail, with an organised approach to all tasks. The role will report directly to the B2B management team, with relevant workloads/schedules provided accordingly.
