We are looking for a Senior Technical Claims Advisor to use their motor vehicle mechanical expertise to help guide our clients through the appropriate claims process. As a key part of the APG team you will be responsible for guiding claimants through the relevant claims process giving expert advice regarding suitable repairers and relevant liabilities. The role The key responsibilities you could be looking after include: • Provide accurate claims advice across a variety of products and the processes involved within your handling limit, • Other reasonable duties as required., • Resolve claims across a variety of platforms, telephone, email and online, • Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim remaining within Average Claims Spend, • Understanding our various customers’ requirements and working with them to ensure they are properly dealt with, • Maintain company service levels and deliver on set KPI’s, • Consider and validate High Value Claims in accordance with AP referral process, • Provide technical advice and support to the Claims Team, • Provide support to the Sales team by providing accurate and timely information, • Provide professional and friendly service, • Ensure fair settlement of a valid claim, • Service in accordance with industry and company guidelines, • Handle any complaints associated with a claim as per the complaints process and carry out any Manager Call backs, • Manage all administration aspects of the claim including exception reports Our ideal candidate • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, • A high level of literacy and numeracy, • Active listening skills, • Initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations, • Good written and oral communication skills, • Ability to work effectively under pressure both within a team or on own initiative, • Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Technical knowledge i.e. repairs, maintenance and diagnostics, • Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, • Good understanding of voice/soft skill, • Technical qualification such as City and Guilds NVQ in relevant subject Preferred: • Experience in an FCA regulated environment, • A background in insurance product administration and claims resolution Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for work permits. A large format print company in Hertford East is seeking a full-time delivery driver to join their team. The role involves delivering completed large format graphics projects to clients and installation teams on-site. Flexibility is essential, as deliveries may occasionally be required nationwide. Please note that this position is not suitable for individuals without prior driving experience, as the job can be challenging for those new to driving. The ideal candidate should possess a full and clean driving license, be well-presented, and physically fit. Punctuality, professionalism, and politeness are crucial, as you will interact with clients during deliveries, representing our business. You will also be expected to assist with loading and preparing deliveries from time to time to support the factory team. In this role, you will: · Deliver one-to-one financial capability coaching to build confidence in managing money day-to-day and long term. · Provide advocacy to help clients access bank accounts, ID documents, and benefits. · Challenge financial barriers such as sanctions or benefit refusals that risk destitution and reoffending. · Support clients to manage or avoid debt, with clear pathways to specialist Citizens Advice debt advice. · Refer clients for wider Citizens Advice support, including energy, employment, and family issues. We’re looking for someone with proven advice skills, strong communication and advocacy abilities, and the confidence to manage a caseload to a high standard. You can be based at our Harlow office, or work remotely from Cambridge or Peterborough, but regular visibility in local probation offices will be expected. Pre-employment checks This role is dependent on DBS and passing probation service security checks. Before commencing this role, the successful candidate will be required to gain clearance through HMPPS vetting to enhanced Level 1 and a Standard DBS through us.
