    Calico Projects is looking to take on experienced custodian/cleaner(s) to support the upkeep of three community buildings in the Lee/Central Lewisham area. This part-time role is essential to keeping our well-used community spaces clean, safe and welcoming. While initially focused on three core sites, there is scope for the role to expand as Calico takes on additional buildings in the area. The role can be filled by an individual or a small team, with flexibility around start and finish times. Most cleaning needs to take place outside of public use hours (before 7am or after 9pm), though there is some flexibility for later evening starts. Duties will include (across the three sites): Manor House (Library, Nursery & Community Centre, set over four floors with lift access): • Daily cleaning of nursery toilets, activity rooms and floors, including mopping, vacuuming and replenishing stocks., • Daily cleaning of library toilets, touch-points and communal spaces, plus spot vacuuming and dusting as required., • Daily/weekly cleaning of first floor and mezzanine rooms, including toilets, baby change facilities, meeting rooms and communal areas., • Daily cleaning of top floor toilet and replenishing supplies., • Weekly cleaning of stairs, lifts, handrails and other high-contact areas; occasional deep cleans of stone stairs and flooring., • Monitoring bins (with most emptied by nursery staff/volunteers)., • Lochaber Halls (two community halls, nursery & activity space):, • Daily sweeping/mopping of both halls., • Daily cleaning of toilets and replenishing stocks., • Cleaning of kitchen, entrance hall and walkways as required., • House on the Hill (shared creative workspace):, • Twice weekly vacuuming of main corridors., • Cleaning toilets and replenishing stocks., • Mopping communal kitchen and dining areas, wiping surfaces., • Not part of the cleaning remit:, • Outdoor areas and gardens, window cleaning (internal/external), private studio rooms, washing up, painting or repairs. Issues such as blockages or maintenance needs should be reported to the facilities team., • Timings:, • Cleaning must be completed before nursery and hall staff arrive at 7am, with all floors dry and safe., • Community groups begin from 8.30am; library staff from 9am., • Evening cleaning is possible after 9pm if preferred., • Resources:, • All buildings have their own cleaning equipment and supplies. Shortages should be reported to the caretaker/facilities team. No uniform is required., • Future opportunities:, • A fourth building in Lee may be added shortly., • Calico also operates five further sites across Lewisham, with contracts up for renewal in 2025.     JOB TITLE: Facilities Assistant LOCATION: StoneX Stadium, Greenlands Lane, Hendon, London, NW4 1RL REPORT TO: Facilities Manager CONTRACT TYPE: Full time, permanent SALARY: £26,000 per annum PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The role is business critical and entails the coordination, facility compliance checks along with sport and community set up supporting both the Events, Catering, and the Facility Management functions of the business. The role will essentially ensure the smooth running of the venue on a day-to-day basis. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, it is imperative for this post holder to ensure that the service provided to both internal and external stakeholders is of the highest degree. Care and welfare of all Saracens staff always need to be held in the highest regard by upholding and displaying the club’s values and core behaviours. The role requires someone who is confident and courteous and can build and sustain long term relationships with staff and external suppliers. Key areas of work will include: 1. Day to day stadium set up for internal and external users of the stadium, 2. Saracens match day set up for both men and women’s fixtures, 3. Facilities management compliance support Match day /non match day duties · Working closely with the Match Day Operations, Events and Catering departments to ensure match days and events are set up in accordance with Venue Programming requirements. · Assist in the management of onsite stakeholders and tenants. Facility Management Compliance Support Working closely with the Facilities Manager and Senior Operations & Compliance Manager to: · Ensure that health and safety policies are delivered in accordance with the regulations · Ensure venue is checked pre and post event to ensure safety compliance and event checklist signed off. · Ensure that the Wi-Fi, tills and other IT equipment are working and if not report to the IT contractor. · Ensure that all Facility related compliance checks have been completed on a weekly basis. This includes Fire management, Water management, COSHH and all SGSA related compliance. Other · To communicate all site wide bookings effectively and timely with all company related departments or teams. · The employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation.
