Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, with a focus on tandoor items, biryanis, and a variety of traditional curries Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and consistent food quality Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining high performance and service standards Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service Assist in menu planning, including developing new dishes and seasonal offerings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimise waste Requirements Proven experience as an Indian Chef, with strong expertise in tandoor cooking, biryani preparation, and curry dishes Background in hospitality or restaurant environments Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment Excellent organisational and multitasking skills Strong leadership and communication abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards Passion for authentic Indian cuisine and delivering exceptional dining experiences Applicant must currently hold a valid UK visa or have the right to work in the UK.
