Responsibilities: - Oversee the preparation and execution of dishes within your designated section of the kitchen. - Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are maintained. - Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and refine existing recipes. - Manage food inventory and minimize waste through effective stock control. - Ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organized, and hygienic condition. - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations. - Assist with the management of the kitchen team during peak service periods. Requirements: - At least one year of experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen. - Strong culinary skills and a passion for food. - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - A creative approach to cooking and a willingness to experiment with new flavors and techniques. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. - Valid food hygiene certificate.
