We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Kitchen Assistant / Grill Chef to join our team at Grill Cartel Uxbridge. HOURS: • Part-time – approximately 25–35 hours per week, • Opening hours: Monday–Sunday, 5PM–2AM, • You must be flexible and available to work full 5PM–2AM shifts, including closing, • Overtime may also be available YOUR ROLE: • Preparing burgers, wraps, doner, shawarma, grilled chicken and other grilled food, • Preparing orders quickly and accurately during busy periods, • Handling Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat orders, • Taking customer takeaway orders in-store, • Food preparation and stock rotation, • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic at all times, • Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: • Previous kitchen / fast-food experience, • Experience with burgers, wraps, doner, shawarma or grilled food is strongly preferred, • Able to work FAST while maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, • Good spoken English for communicating with customers and the team, • Reliable and punctual, • Able to work well under pressure, • Flexible with working days and overtime when required, • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate preferred Training on our menu, systems and procedures will be provided. 💷 Pay: Competitive and based on experience ⏰ 25–35 hours per week 📍 Uxbridge, UB8 2RT 🚀 Immediate start available If interested, please message us with: 1. Every year, CAAS supports hundreds of ADHD and autistic children, young people, adults and their families through information, advice, support services, training and community programmes. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking a talented fundraiser who can help us build strong supporter relationships, develop new income streams, and ensure our vital work reaches even more people. About the Role Working closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager and CEO, you will play a key role in developing and delivering fundraising activities that generate sustainable income and increase awareness of CAAS. This varied and rewarding role will include: • Developing and delivering community fundraising initiatives and events, • Recruiting and supporting individual and community fundraisers, • Building relationships with donors, schools, community groups and corporate partners, • Researching and developing new fundraising opportunities, • Supporting trust and grant applications, • Helping to grow digital and social media fundraising campaigns, • Maintaining fundraising records and supporter data using our CRM, • Representing CAAS at events, presentations and community engagements You will also act as an ambassador for the charity, delivering excellent supporter care and helping donors understand the impact of their contributions. About You We're looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, initiative and a proven ability to generate income through fundraising activities. You will have: Essential • Experience in a fundraising role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector, • A successful track record in community fundraising, events, individual giving or related income generation, • Experience building relationships with donors, supporters, community groups or corporate partners, • Strong communication and presentation skills, • Excellent written skills, including experience preparing funding applications or fundraising materials, • Experience using a CRM or database to manage supporter information, • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, • A positive, professional and collaborative approach Desirable • Experience supporting fundraising volunteers or volunteer groups, • Corporate fundraising experience, • Experience contributing to larger trust and foundation applications, • Knowledge of digital fundraising and social media campaigns, • A fundraising qualification or equivalent experience, • Full UK driving licence You do not need previous experience of working with ADHD or autistic people. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team. This role will have a strong focus on Sales Ledger, while also supporting the wider finance function including Purchase Ledger, payroll administration and month-end processes. Accounts Assistant Key Responsibilities: • Accounts Processing: Handle all aspects of day-to-day accounting, including purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management., • Sage 50 Cloud Expertise: Utilise Sage 50 Cloud to manage and record transactions, run reports, and maintain accurate financial records., • Invoicing and Payments: Process sales and purchase invoices, track payments, and ensure accuracy in supplier and customer accounts., • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with HMRC requirements., • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports., • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts regularly and ensure accurate financial reporting., • Payroll Support: Provide support in payroll and related processes as required., • Project Support: Work closely with the project management team to track costs, ensure accurate project invoicing, and maintain up-to-date financial records for ongoing M&E projects., • Ad Hoc Financial Tasks: Assist with various other accounting and administrative duties as needed, including filing, reporting, and responding to accounts-related queries.
