Job Title: Electrical\nCommissioning Systems Engineer \n Location: Portsmouth Naval\nBase – Onsite only \n Salary: Up to £45,998\n(dependent on skills and experience) \n What you’ll be\ndoing: • Maintenance,\ncommissioning, defect diagnosis and rectification on Electrical\nHigh-voltage/Low-voltage Systems, • Apply depth\nand breadth of knowledge relating to Electrical\nHigh-voltage/Low-voltage systems in order to resolve the most\ncomplex challenges, issues and faults\nassociated with commissioning, operation, and performance of\nsystems, • Present designated trials and\ncommissioning activities, • Operate Safe Systems\nof Work that comply with the company SHE procedures at all\ntimes, • Provide mentorship and technical\nguidance to less experienced Engineers, • Deep\nknowledge and experience of Electrical Low-voltage systems and what\ninfluences their performance, • Ability to work\nwith a high degree of technical autonomy and provide advice and\nguidance to other technical staff, • Ability to\nengage with customers and authorities in writing, by telephone or\nface to face to discuss technical issues and problems\n, • Minimum NVQ/HNC in Electrical Engineering\n The Electrical Systems\nTeam: Conducting Electrical HV\n& LV Systems commissioning, operation, maintenance, and defect\nrectification activities on board Royal Navy Queen Elizabeth Class\n(QEC) Aircraft Carriers, Type 45 (T45) Destroyers,\nType 23 (T23) Frigates,\nHUNT class and any contracted tasking.
