Electrical Design Engineer Our client is UK based nationwide Mechanical & Electrical contractor, providing a comprehensive portfolio of electrical and mechanical services. Our client is one of a very few UK companies to hold a coveted Royal Warrant. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on both design-and-build and design-only projects, collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and site contractors. Your projects will include: Formula 1 and automotive facilities High-end residential developments Office fit-outs Carbon reduction and energy efficiency projects Heritage buildings Key Responsibilities: Electrical design across RIBA Stages 1-5 Producing cable calculations, lighting designs, electrical design, and technical specifications Conducting site surveys and supporting project delivery Collaborating with contractors during installation phases Assisting clients in defining project scope and requirements Attending client meetings and site visits About You: Ideal candidates will have: A background in electrical engineering (building services or similar) Experience or interest in electrical design (training provided where needed) Strong communication skills and confidence in client interactions A proactive, team-oriented mindset A full UK driving licence What We Offer: Opportunity to join and shape a new, growing design team Exposure to a diverse and high-profile project portfolio Ongoing training and professional development Clear opportunities for career progression Competitive salary dependent on experience ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
