Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities: • Technically flawless, timely, and cost-effective commissioning of HVDC systems on-site, • Integration testing and functional testing of the HVDC control system (C&P hardware and software) in our test center, • Creation and implementation of test procedures and test programs for the converter and pole control systems, including the necessary verification documentation, • Planning, implementation, and evaluation of workshop tests (acceptance tests) at subcontractors, • Supporting the commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management, • Participation in improvement programs (including Lean, reviews, and lessons learned) Work Experience & Qualifications: • Completed degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or comparable training/qualification, • Knowledge of project planning and testing using MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, and CFC is desirable., • Experience in HVDC systems (control, regulation, measurement, protection, and communication systems) is an advantage., • Good knowledge of power converter technology, high-voltage technology, and/or control engineering rounds out your skills profile, ideally in the field of HVDC technology., • Good knowledge of German and English, • Willingness to travel worldwide and to undertake assignments on construction sites, typically lasting several months, both in Germany and abroad, and optionally on offshore platforms.
