JOB OPPORTUNITY – UK SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR Title: Sales & Service Administrator Location: Halesowen, West Midlands, UK Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 The Role Headstock Group is recruiting a Sales & Service Administrator to help develop its Customer Support team. Working in a fast-paced office environment, the role provides an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of tasks with some of the world’s leading musical equipment brands. To be a successful candidate you will be motivated, organised, and proactive, with good communication skills and will be comfortable working in a team based at our West Midlands headquarters. As part of the Sales and Customer Support team, you will be responsible for providing high quality service and returns assistance to both business partners and end users. You will also be handling spare parts sourcing and assisting with warranty submission with suppliers, including the throughput of impacted inventory. Based in the Black Country, in the heart of the UK, Headstock Group is a family-owned, private company. It is the owner of the world-renowned Laney Amplification and HH Audio brands, and the exclusive UK & Ireland distributor for Ibanez, DiMarzio, Truetone, Tama, Zildjian, Vic Firth & Aquarian Drumheads. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work across all of these exciting brands, to gain experience and to potentially progress within the organisation over time. Key Duties • Be the primary point of contact for back office administrative support to Headstock sales staff; managing queries, orders and the customer database., • Be the primary point of contact to B2B and B2C customers for After Sales Support via Headstock support systems., • Book and manage inbound freight for Headstock staff and customers., • Triage inbound returns to ensure efficient processing Key Skills • Possess excellent administrative, analytical skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)., • Possess exceptional knowledge of guitar, bass, drum and amplifier products to provide support across our full product line., • Be able to work to required deadlines, be self-motivated, resourceful, and organised., • Be eager to learn and to retain information. Additional Useful Skills • Experience in an office or workplace to include the use of email, telephone systems and MRP/ERP software systems., • Experience as a guitarist, bassist, sound engineer or drummer., • Experience with product repairs, product quality control or hobbyist product maintenance., • Experience with web sales or 3rd party platform sales such as eBay., • Experience with Zendesk Additional Requirements • Strong IT literacy to include MS Office., • Competent writing skills and numeracy, supported by Maths and English qualifications to a minimum of Grade C/4 at GCSE level or equivalent., • UK resident.
