    About Motherly Care Motherly Care provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16+, supporting them to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills within a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. We are a small, dedicated team and value kindness, reliability, professionalism and working together to achieve positive outcomes for young people. The Role We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers / Key Workers to join our bank team and provide additional weekend cover. We are particularly looking for staff who are available across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including day, evening and sleep-in shifts. Responsibilities • Support young people to develop independence and daily living skills, • Provide emotional and practical support, • Complete key-work sessions and support young people to achieve their individual goals, • Encourage engagement in education, training and employment, • Support young people with budgeting, meal planning, appointments and accessing the community, • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation, • Recognise, record and report safeguarding concerns appropriately, • Work collaboratively with social workers and other professionals, • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries, • Contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming and supportive home environment Pay & Shift Arrangements Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour Sleep-in payment: £50 per sleep-in Weekend shifts may include: • Friday: 2pm–8pm, • Saturday & Sunday: 8am–8pm day shifts, • Night shifts: 8pm–8am, • Sleep-in period: 11pm–7am, • On an 8pm–8am night shift, 8pm–11pm and 7am–8am are active working hours, paid at the normal hourly rate, with the 11pm–7am sleep-in paid at £50, • 15-minute paid handover where applicable Applicants should be flexible, as bank shifts will be offered according to the needs of the service.     Chef de Partie – The Perry Hill Pub, Catford £14.50 per hour + tronc 25 hours per week, with potential for additional hours Permanent / Part-time The Perry Hill is a busy independent pub in Catford, South East London, serving fresh, seasonal pub food alongside a strong events and functions business. We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This would suit someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, can handle a busy service, and wants to be part of a friendly, independent pub rather than a large chain operation. The role You’ll work as part of our kitchen team across regular pub services, busy weekends, Sunday roasts, functions and events. Typical responsibilities will include: • Preparing and cooking dishes from fresh ingredients, • Running your section confidently during busy services, • Maintaining consistently high standards of food quality and presentation, • Preparing for functions, parties and larger events, • Following food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures, • Helping with deliveries, stock rotation and kitchen organisation, • Keeping your section clean and well organised, • Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, • Supporting other sections when required What we’re looking for Ideally you’ll have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a fresh-food pub, restaurant or similar kitchen. You should be: • Comfortable working with fresh food, • Confident during busy services, • Reliable and organised, • Able to work well as part of a team, • Familiar with food hygiene and allergen procedures, • Happy working evenings and weekends as part of a rota, • Interested in producing good-quality, straightforward pub food Experience with functions, Sunday roasts and high-volume services would be particularly useful. Hours & pay £14.50 per hour plus a share of tronc. The role is initially around 25 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on availability and business levels.
