This is a hybrid role offering flexible working hours and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team supporting a growing manufacturing business. The successful candidate will take ownership of the AP ledger and play a key role in financial reporting, supplier management, and process improvement. Job title: Accounts Payable Clerk Salary: £35,000 Location: Barnsley (hybrid working available) Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Manage the Accounts Payable ledger and ensure timely invoice processing Accurately code supplier costs and maintain vendor payment records Prepare weekly and ad hoc payment runs Support monthly reporting and compliance requirements Resolve supplier queries and manage new vendor setups Assist with cash forecasting and credit card account management Contribute to process improvements and support external audit Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy Effective communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Salary Benefits £35,000 Hybrid working Flexible working patterns Free parking and on a public transport route Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
