We're looking for dedicated individuals to join us as a Study Skills Support Tutor. In this
role, you'll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with students, providing personalised
support to help them develop essential study skills and strategies tailored to their unique
needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Specialist SS-ASC, you'll play a vital role in helping students with ASC, ADD, or
ADHD thrive in their academic pursuits. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with students to establish clear and achievable goals for academic success. - Providing individualised support to develop effective study skills and strategies. - Leveraging your understanding of neurodiversity to identify and capitalise on students'
strengths.
Qualifications: - Teaching qualifications at Level 4 and above, demonstrating your commitment to education
and student support. - Additional training in autism or acceptance to complete mandatory training, paid and
provided for
Job Detail: - This position is freelance, offering flexibility in scheduling. - Support sessions typically range from one to two hours per week during the academic year. - Support is provided exclusively within the higher education (HE)
