The essentials Hours: 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Typically this looks like: • 3 full days per week 8.30am-7pm (days vary on the rota), • 1 in 3 weekends (shorter hours), • Saturday 9-6, • Sunday 10-4, • Flexibility, rota changes and absence cover are part of the role. You'll need: • Experience in client-facing roles (essential), • A professional appearance This isn't a standard reception job. Our PHA role is designed to create a gold-standard client experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position as Veterinary Surgeon is for a full-time experienced Vet in Craigleith. It will include working 1 in 3 weekends, Saturdays are 9am till 5pm and Sundays are 10am to 5pm. However full and part time hours can be considered. Time back during the week is given for weekends. We're looking for a Client Accounts Manager to take ownership of client accounts, insurance processes and financial communication within our practice. You'll be joining a well-established, supportive team where collaboration matters. While this is a back-office, telephony-based role, you'll be speaking with clients daily -helping resolve account queries, guiding them through insurance processes, and bringing clarity to what can sometimes feel complicated. What you'll be doing • Managing client account queries and outstanding balances, • Handling insurance claims and pre-authorisations, • Liaising with clients, insurers and finance providers, • Keeping records accurate and up to date, • Monitoring and reducing debt levels, • Producing reports and spotting trends, • Someone who enjoys client interaction and building rapport, • A calm, professional communicator - especially when discussing finances, • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach, • Logical thinking and good organisational skills We work in a busy veterinary setting where no two days are quite the same. Clients can sometimes be dealing with stressful situations, so conversations around finances need to be handled with empathy, clarity and reassurance. At times, things can move quickly - but you'll be supported by a team that works together and has each other's back.
