Warehouse Operative2 months ago£11.42–£12.5 hourlyFull-timeLondonMain Duties and Responsibilities: • To ensure dock leveller & FLT’s are checked daily, recorded on relevant sheets and defects reported. • Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy. • Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure. • Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations, rotation and TPQ policies. • High level of care and accuracy with pick operations. • Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion. • Maintain high standards of site house-keeping and view all areas including the warehouse as an extension of our showroom. • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to Team Leader immediately. • Deal with trade counter customers in a professional and courteous manner. • Assist with inventory counting when necessary. • Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate.
