    Job Role: Support Worker / Children's Residential Home. Location: Runcorn Salary: £12.60 per hour PLUS additional: £62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional £3,000 -£6,000 P/A) Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role. We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for younger children who very active and energetic. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop. The role can be physically demanding and you will need lots of energy to keep up BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better. This role involves delivering engaging, practical motor vehicle courses that equip students with the technical skills and theoretical knowledge required for a career in the automotive sector. Key Responsibilities: • Course Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality motor vehicle lessons to secondary school students, ensuring all learning objectives and curriculum standards are met., • Practical Training: Provide hands-on training in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, using industry-standard tools and equipment., • Assessment: Assess students' work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements., • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the motor vehicle curriculum, incorporating current industry trends and practices., • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success., • Health and Safety: Ensure all training activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe learning environment for all students. Skills and Attributes: • Passion for the automotive industry and education., • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities., • Excellent organizational and time-management skills., • Adaptability and willingness to embrace new teaching methods and technologies., • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
