HR business partner Location: Runcorn, UK (with travel across the UK and Europe) At Yokogawa, people are the core of our mission. We are seeking an experienced HR business partner to help us attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent. This is a strategic and hands-on role, supporting leaders in delivering a people agenda that enhances performance, builds engagement, and future-proofs our workforce. What you’ll do As an HR business partner, you’ll provide strategic and operational support across functions and locations. Your responsibilities will include: • Partnering with business leaders to shape HR strategy aligned with local and global priorities, • Advising on policies and handling complex employee relations cases, • Delivering HR data and insights to drive decision-making and employee engagement, • Supporting end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities, • Maintaining HR systems and data integrity (Workday), • Driving projects across engagement, culture, DE&I, and organisational development, • Ensuring legal compliance and promoting policy awareness, • Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders across the business What we’re looking for We value capability, character, and curiosity. Ideally, you bring: • A bachelor's degree and CIPD Level 5 qualification (Associate Membership), • 3–6 years of HR experience, with at least 1–3 years in a business partner or advisory role, • Experience working within a complex, multinational business environment, • Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practices, • Analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights, • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, • A flexible, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset, • TUPE experience (preferred, but not essential) Why Yokogawa Yokogawa UK is in a phase of focused, sustainable growth.
