    Job Description: Job Summary Due to ongoing business growth We are a central Brighouse based waste transfer centre/skip hire company and we require a full time experienced and reliable skip driver to join our logistics team. Responsibilities will be operating skip lorries from 14 ton to 18 ton, to collect and deliver skips efficiently across various locations of Calderdale and Kirklees. Essential qualifications · An up to date Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy goods vehicles HGV Class 2 licence, this is essential for this position, as is previous experience driving skip wagons and a knowledge of the area. · Must hold full drivers up to date CPC. Essential skills · Take a methodical approach to work · Be patient, able to work unsupervised, and stay calm under pressure · Have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, and provide a high level of customer service · Be able to follow instructions, and know when to discuss changes to plans Hours and pay Hours: 45 hours per week 7-5 Monday to Friday, potential for alternate Saturday mornings. Pay: Will be negotiated at interview We have on site parking for employees and a pension scheme.     Job Description: Position Summary We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Field Sales Representative with a strong understanding of meat and bacon products. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers across retail, foodservice, wholesale, and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of pork, bacon, beef, poultry, and value-added meat products, along with the ability to identify customer needs and provide product solutions that drive sales. Key Responsibilities • Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory., • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular face-to-face visits., • Promote and sell the company's range of fresh, frozen, and processed meat and bacon products., • Build strong relationships with butchers, cafe's , foodservice operators, distributors, and independent retailers., • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate meat and bacon products., • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and supply agreements within company guidelines., • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and profitability goals., • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback., • Work closely with production, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure exceptional customer service., • Maintain accurate sales reports, customer records. Qualifications & Experience • Minimum of 3 years' experience in field sales, preferably within the meat, bacon, or food manufacturing industry., • Strong knowledge of fresh meats, bacon, pork products, beef, poultry, and value-added meat products., • Existing relationships within the retail, wholesale, or foodservice sectors are highly desirable., • Proven ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales targets., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills., • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently., • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the sales territory. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of meat cuts, product specifications, curing, smoking, and bacon manufacturing., • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach., • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
