Requirements Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 Dog Grooming (or equivalent) essential. Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional dog grooming experience, with proficiency across various breeds and coat types. High-quality clipper-work, Handstripping & Handscissoring is essential. Equipment: The contractor is to provide their own clippers, scissors and blades. Sharpening Services must be organised independently, ensuring business can operate as usual. Everything else i.e Bath, Table, Shampoos & Spa Treatments are provided. Self-Employed Status: Must be registered as self-employed with HMRC and responsible for your own tax obligations (or willingness to obtain before starting). Insurance: Public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain before starting). Skills: Strong grooming skills, excellent customer service, and ability to handle dogs (all breeds) calmly, confidently and compassionately with a high-welfare approach.
