    Part time school cleaner required Your working hours will be 10 hours per week for 39 term time weeks + 3 weeks deep cleaning. (42 week contract) You will also be required to work for 3 additional weeks to carry out a deep clean activity during the school holidays, which you will be advised by the Area Manager when this will take place. Your normal working pattern on the contract that you are allocated to will be 4pm – 6pm Monday to Friday, £12.21 per hour Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning corridors and toilets. A Enhanced DBS is required for this role so if you do not already hold one we will require the appropriate ID to complete one. Experience is preferred Full training will be given by the dedicated Area Manager. PPE/company polo shirts /pinnies provided. Monthly Pay 2 references will be needed. Summary As a part-time School Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your core responsibility will involve commercial cleaning tasks, ensuring classrooms, hallways, and restrooms are spotless. Your janitorial experience will be invaluable in upholding hygiene standards and promoting a conducive learning atmosphere. Qualifications – Proficient in English language – Excellent communication skills – Ability to work independently and efficiently – Prior experience in cleaning or related field is a plus Responsibilities: – Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming – Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas – Empty trash receptacles and replace liners – Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces – Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished – Follow established safety procedures and guidelines – Adhere to company policies and procedures The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: You must have the right to work in the UK Cleaning experience of at least 2 years is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right applicant. JOB SPEC To service, maintain and overhaul on-site Condenser Cleaning systems and cooling water intake Debris Filters and associated control systems and electrical actuator system UK Wide. Field Service Engineers need to have previous experience with servicing and maintaining various electrical & mechanical systems. We are also looking to hire on attitude. We need a solid, customer-facing engineer with a “can-do” attitude who is willing to get the job done independently. Training on our bespoke company products and equipment will be provided within the UK and at our factory in Germany. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out all customer work associated with the service, maintenance and overhauling of our systems located on customer sites. Carry out installation and commissioning work at our customer sites. Complete all allocated work within the most cost-efficient timescales. Complete all relevant paperwork clearly and concisely, ensuring all timesheets and other paperwork are submitted on time. Adhere to company quality standards, policies and procedures including risk assessment. Meet customer expectations on service delivery and professional standards. Utilise company reporting procedures with any job outcomes, concerns, etc. SKILL SET ESSENTIAL Strong working knowledge and experience with servicing and maintaining industrial type mechanical/electrical equipment including pumps / actuators valves and PLC Control Systems Excellent diagnosis and fault-finding skills Computer literacy to include Office Word, Excel Good organisational & communication skills Excellent customer facing skills Full UK Driving Licence DESIRABLE PLC Control systems Siemens / Alen Bradley experience (training provided). Debris Filter & Condenser Tube Cleaning systems experience (training provided) Experience in electrical & mechanical fault-finding. Ideally Level 2 City and Guilds or BTEC Level 2 Higher Nationals Electronic and Electrical Systems and or Mechanical. HOURS 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri only with flexible working Weekend calls outs are a possibility. Overtime available for this.
