Manage retail sales effectively through upselling products like shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair accessories. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments efficiently. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and providing constructive feedback to foster professional growth. Support store management tasks when needed to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive salon atmosphere. Skills Proven expertise in hair styling techniques with a strong portfolio of diverse looks. Knowledge of color theory principles for safe and effective coloring services. Skilled in applying hair extensions and performing precision cuts using tools like straight razors and scissors. Experience with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships. Familiarity with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Capable of performing barbering services including straight razor shaves when applicable. Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while educating clients on their benefits.
