Dedicated to results Job Title: Branch Manager Reports to: VP of Customer Service Location: Syracuse, NY Salary Exempt: $70,000 - $80,000 Summary The Branch Manager will effectively oversee all branch operations for Noble Gas Solutions, LLC - Syracuse. Serving as the primary link for customer service, sales growth, business development, merchandising, inventory management, employee supervision, and financial transactions. Dedicated to maintaining operational excellence, driving profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strong leadership, process improvement, and team development. Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management • Coordinate and perform store sales activities, including assisting customers in-person and via phone/email, following established pricing programs, merchandising, and inventory management., • Oversee accurate completion of all daily financial transactions and cash drawer balancing., • Provide guidance and solutions to customers regarding product applications, availability, and equipment troubleshooting., • Conduct hard goods inventory cycles and physical counts, collaborating with the Purchasing Manager to manage inventory, reduce dead stock, and ensure proper product ordering., • Maintain the store and storefront, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and security., • Manage preparation of customer purchases and orders for pick-up, coordinating with Plant employees for gas or equipment needs as necessary., • Set goals, delegate responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to staff and subordinates., • Participate in all training opportunities, including safety, compliance, customer service, and product knowledge/application sessions., • Collaborate with management to develop and implement store policies and procedures., • Be available after hours and on weekends to handle emergencies and ensure operational continuity.Requirements, • Problem solves within delegated authority., • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal staff, customers, and third parties., • Flexibility to work outside regular office hours when necessary., • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business/trade journals, technical procedures, and government regulations., • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations., • Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide management with recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability., • Monitor and document employee performance, providing coaching, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed., • Proven ability to manage goals, delegate responsibilities, track progress, and provide performance feedback and evaluations to team members., • Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary for the role., • Continuous improvement mindset., • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement and automation initiatives., • Experience managing both local and multi-location/national operations preferred., • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Educational & Professional Qualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related industry, or, • Associate’s degree in business management or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in a related industry.Physical Demands, • Ability to stand for 4–6 hours per day., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance., • Capability to operate a forklift, pick-up truck, or car as needed., • Ability to squat, bend, and lift while handling stock for customers., • Manual dexterity sufficient for keyboard, telephone, and mouse use., • Arm and shoulder mobility to stock shelves and manipulate cylinders using a rolling motion., • Speech and hearing are adequate for regular in-person and telephone communication., • Vision sufficient for computer work and reading paperwork.
