The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A Manager) is responsible for leading enterprise-wide financial reporting, planning, forecasting, performance management, and executive decision support. This role leads the planning and forecasting framework, develops executive dashboards and reporting, and turns data into insight, recommendations, and decision-ready materials. The FP&A Manager strengthens reporting automation, data integrity, and consistent KPI definitions across the organization. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) • Own the internal management reporting package (monthly/quarterly), including calendar, standard content, definitions, distribution, and continuous refinement to meet leadership needs., • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and KPI scorecards; ensure consistent metric definitions and a single source of truth across finance and operational reporting., • Create clear, decision-oriented performance narratives by translating data into insights, trends, drivers, and recommended actions for leadership discussions., • Create and lead the budgeting and forecasting framework, including timelines, templates, assumptions, consolidation processes, review cycles, and executive review decks., • Partner with the executive team to deliver analysis and actionable insights that improve performance, profitability, and cash outcomes., • Lead standard monthly/quarterly performance analysis (e.g., volume/mix, price, productivity, spending, and working capital drivers) and proactively surface risks and opportunities., • Support strategic and operational planning through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and business case evaluation (including capital and major initiatives as needed)., • Improve reporting automation and data integrity by partnering with Finance/IT to streamline data flows, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and enhance data quality., • Maintain key planning and reporting models, including documentation, version control, and standard work to ensure consistency, transparency, and continuity., • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting for leadership decisions, • Coach and enable business partners by improving financial literacy, self-service reporting capabilities, and understanding of key performance drivers across functions., • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field., • 5-8+ years of progressive FP&A, management reporting, or analytics experience, with manufacturing environment experience preferred., • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights., • Executive-ready communication skills and ability to build concise narratives for leadership decision-making., • Natural curiosity and intellectual rigor. Consistently asks why, seeks to understand root causes, challenges assumptions, and explores alternative perspectives to uncover insights, • Strong understanding of manufacturing financial drivers (volume, mix, margin, productivity, spending, and working capital)., • Ability to improve processes through standardization, automation, and data governance; continuous improvement mindset., • High proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite and dashboard/BI tools (e.g., Domo, Power BI) preferred., • Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.
