This Opportunity FPA is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Structural to join our team in Newark, NJ. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Structural department of our Building Design Group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering and project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on a variety of building projects. Core Responsibilities: * Manage structural design projects from initial concept through construction completion. * Lead the development of structural analyses, calculations, drawings, and specifications. * Coordinate project deliverables with architectural teams and other engineering disciplines. * Serve as the primary client point of contact, ensuring strong communication and successful project delivery. * Oversee budgets, schedules, and contract administration for multiple projects. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. * Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all phases of design. * Support the growth of the Structural Design department through leadership and collaboration. Job Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred. * Professional Engineer (PE) license required. * 10+ years of structural engineering and project management experience in building design. * Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary design projects and leading teams. * Strong technical knowledge of structural systems, codes, and design practices. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. * Proficiency with structural design software and project management tools. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
