Job DescriptionDescriptionAs a leader within Aspire Allergy & Sinus, the Revenue Cycle Manager drives the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of core revenue cycle functions, including billing, charge entry, coding, claims management, payment posting, reimbursement, accounts receivable, insurance verification, authorizations, and patient financial services. Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue Cycle Management, this role helps transform strategy into execution by developing and maintaining RCM SOPs, improving and documenting workflows, maintaining EDI/EFT/ERA enrollment and payer connectivity, training & developing materials to support operational consistency, identifying and analyzing trends in denials and reimbursement, and escalating systemic issues that require cross-departmental intervention. The Manager provides operational insight, monitors performance metrics, and ensures the team is aligned with Aspire’s mission to deliver a seamless and positive patient financial experience while supporting scalable multi-state growth. Key Responsibilities • Lead, train and mentor a team of 10+ revenue cycle professionals, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement., • Oversee daily operations for charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and A/R management to ensure accuracy and timeliness., • Execute departmental plans to achieve KPIs and operational targets aligned with Aspire’s revenue cycle strategy., • Collaborate with the VP of RCM on strategic initiatives, providing operational insight, feasibility, assessments, and performance feedback., • Provide regular updates, reporting, and recommendations to inform decision-making, goal setting, and long-term strategy., • Oversee insurance verification and authorization workflows to ensure proper coverage and minimize denials., • Identify and address payer trends, denials, and reimbursement barriers; escalate systemic issues and collaborate with leadership to implement corrective actions., • Partner with Accounting on cash reconciliation, variance resolution, and financial reporting., • Serve as the operational liaison with payers, billing teams, and leadership to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships., • Ensure compliance with payer policies, coding regulations, and HIPAA requirements., • Champion process improvement, automation,, and technology optimization across multiple EHR and billing systems (NextGen preferred)., • Handle escalated patient billing concerns with professionalism and empathy, reinforcing Aspire’s patient-centered values. Competencies • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable., • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights and operational improvements., • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis/reporting tools., • Deep understanding of multi-state healthcare revenue cycle operations and payer reimbursement methodologies., • Ability to build and track RCM KPIs and identify trends to drive performances., • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills., • High attention to detail, accuracy, and regulatory compliance., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing competing priorities., • Experience working within multiple EHR and billing systems, with a preference for experience in NextGen., • Commitment to Aspire’s mission of helping patients live life beyond allergy through operational excellence., • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience., • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Revenue Cycle Management, including direct leadership of billing and AR teams (10+ staff), • Demonstrated knowledge of payer requirements, coding, and compliance regulations across multiple states., • Experience with EHR and billing systems (NextGen preferred)., • Experience leading revenue cycle operations in a specialty or multi-site healthcare organization., • Experience in the Allergy & Sinus Specialty a plus., • Familiarity with NextGen configuration, reporting, and optimization., • Proven success in payer collaboration and reimbursement issue resolution., • Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred., • Net Collection Rate, • Days in A/R, • % of A/R > 90 Days, • Denial rate, • Cost to Collect, • Competitive salary + potential performance-based bonus, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, • Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays, • 401(k) + Generous Employer Match, • Life Insurance...
