Position Overview The Assistant Project Manager plays a dual role in supporting both the operational and financial aspects of HVAC construction projects. This hybrid position is ideal for candidates with experience in project coordination and job cost accounting, particularly within the construction or mechanical contracting industries. Compensation: $75,000-85,000k/Year(Based on Experience) Key Responsibilities Project Management Support • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and documentation., • Track project timelines, budgets, and change orders to ensure alignment with goals., • Coordinate communication with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments., • Manage and maintain submittals, RFIs, and project closeout documentation., • Set up and manage job cost codes and budgets within the accounting system., • Track and reconcile project costs, labor hours, purchase orders, and subcontractor invoices., • Assist in the preparation of monthly job cost reports and financial forecasts., • Monitor billing timelines and assist with AIA and progress billing preparation., • 5-8 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or general construction., • Background in both project coordination and job cost accounting., • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage 300 CRE, Foundation, or similar)., • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with project tracking tools., • Excellent organizational and communication skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.Company DescriptionThe Bachrach Group LTD.
