Job Description Housekeeper-Room Attendant Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven housekeeping professional to join our 5-star luxury hotel team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in a luxury hotel or comparable high-end hospitality environment, strong proficiency in English, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest service. This role requires professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced luxury setting. Job Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury hotel or similar hospitality environment, • Proficiency in English (verbal communication required), • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 40–50 pounds, • Ability to kneel, reach overhead, and bend as needed, • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, • Ability to operate housekeeping tools, equipment, and machinery, • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required Key Responsibilities: As a Room Attendant at our 5-star property, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to ensure every detail reflects our commitment to luxury and comfort. • Attend and actively participate in daily housekeeping briefings, • Review room assignments to prioritize cleaning and note special guest requests, • Coordinate with House Attendants for bed stripping, trash removal, and furniture resetting in departing rooms, in person or via radio, • Clean guest rooms to Forbes Travel Guide and brand standards, including:, • Stripping and making beds, • Removing trash, • Dusting and sanitizing surfaces, • Vacuuming and replenishing terry and bathroom amenities, • Resetting furniture and neatly arranging guest belongings, • Report maintenance issues, missing, or damaged items in guest rooms or public areas to the supervisor immediately, • Report all “Do Not Disturb” or “Refused Service” rooms to receive replacement assignments, • Participate in scheduled deep-clean projects as assigned, • Perform turndown service in accordance with Forbes Travel Guide standards, • Transport soiled linen to linen chutes or designated collection carts, • Dispose of trash in designated service areas and dumpsters, • Support departmental operations and guest satisfaction by performing other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer Chateau Marmont is an equal opportunity employer.
