This position blends high-level operational management with hands-on leadership, requiring strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to drive both guest experience and financial results. The Bar Manager is accountable for the success of the bar across all areas, including service standards, team development, inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships. While actively managing the floor, this role ensures the bar operates efficiently, profitably, and in full alignment with the overall vision of the restaurant. Leadership & Floor Management • Operate as a floor manager, supporting overall restaurant operations while maintaining a strong presence at the bar, • Lead, coach, and develop the bar team, including Bartenders, Bar Leads, and Bar Backs, • Hold team members accountable to service standards, performance expectations, and operational procedures, • Partner with other managers to ensure alignment across all areas of serviceGuest Experience & Service Standards, • Uphold and drive exceptional hospitality standards at the bar and throughout the restaurant, • Actively engage with guests, ensuring a high level of service, consistency, and overall experience, • Address guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and urgencyFinancial & Operational Oversight, • Manage bar labor, scheduling, and staffing levels to align with business needs and cost targets, • Oversee beverage cost, including inventory control, waste reduction, and product usage, • Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper cost management, • Analyze sales and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvementInventory & Vendor Management, • Maintain full ownership of bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, counting, and storage, • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and brand representatives, • Negotiate pricing, manage product selection, and ensure consistent supply of all bar productsBeverage Program Development, • Lead cocktail program development, including menu creation, seasonal updates, and innovation, • Ensure all beverage offerings are aligned with the concept, brand standards, and guest expectations, • Train and educate the team on all beverage products, techniques, and service standardsOperational Excellence, • Ensure the bar is consistently clean, organized, and operating at peak efficiency, • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, • Oversee opening, closing, and ongoing operational procedures for the bar
