Position Overview The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of beverage quality, managing staff performance, and maximizing profitability. This is a working Bar Manager role, requiring active participation in daily bar operations including bartending, barbacking, and guest service as needed. The role also supports on-site events and collaborates with clients and internal teams to create elevated beverage experiences aligned with the hotel's luxury hospitality standards. Starting Salary: $50,000 Key Responsibilities Operations Management • Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures., • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality beverages and exceptional guest experiences., • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the bar area., • Attend property event strategy meetings related to food and beverage operations., • Support on-site hotel events by coordinating beverage service and operational execution., • Collaborate with event clients and planners to develop customized beverage experiences, including specialty cocktail creation., • Assist with outside catering coordination and ensure efficient event setup and breakdown., • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and barbacks., • Foster a positive, professional, and service-focused work environment., • Manage ordering, receiving, and storage of beverages and bar supplies., • Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records., • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally., • Promote a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests., • Monitor sales performance and support revenue goals., • Prepare reports related to sales, labor costs, and inventory usage., • Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing laws and health and safety regulations., • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures., • Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or similar leadership role., • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills., • In-depth knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and bar operations., • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities., • Experience working in hospitality environments with events or private functions preferred., • Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting., • Fast-paced hospitality environment., • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
