Job DescriptionJob Title: Communications CoordinatorLocation: United States (Remote – EST Hours)Duration: 7 MonthsEmployment Type: ContractRole Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to ensure alignment across the organization by effectively communicating marketing initiatives, sales priorities, and go-to-market activities. This role plays a critical part in keeping internal teams informed and engaged while supporting limited external communications. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate internal (90%) and external (10%) communications across multiple brands and business units, • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to understand initiatives, announcements, and challenges, and develop effective communication strategies, • Draft, edit, and publish communications including emails, memos, newsletters, campaigns, and intranet content, • Develop and manage monthly and quarterly newsletters with concise, engaging content, • Tailor messaging for different audiences across departments and organizational levels, • Maintain and update SharePoint intranet sites, including content, permissions, navigation, and document libraries, • Manage an internal communications calendar to ensure timely and coordinated messaging, • Intake and prioritize communication requests, providing guidance on messaging and timing, • Support development of presentations, talking points, and leadership communications, • Coordinate logistics for virtual meetings and events (Zoom, Microsoft Teams), including facilitation and support, • Create project plans and communication strategies for major organizational initiatives, • Draft executive memos and leadership updates, • Support client and contractor communications, including notifications and service updates, • Draft press releases and coordinate approvals and distributionRequired Qualifications:, • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related roles, • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, • Proven experience supporting leadership and cross-functional teams, • Ability to simplify complex or technical information into clear, audience-friendly messaging, • Excellent organizational and project management skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, • High attention to detail and accuracy, • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience, • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:, • Experience in communications, marketing, or a related field, • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet), • Experience supporting virtual events or webinars, • Basic understanding of communications analytics and performance measurement
