The focus of this position will be on meeting New York Office of Professions standards, CCNE standards, and achieving acceptable NCLEX pass rates and graduation rates along with meeting campus retention and graduation goals. The Program Director of Nursing is responsible for managing the resources for the nursing program under guidance of the Campus Director. The primary student focus is ensuring a supportive environment to provide quality instruction. Work location is subject to change based on business needs. On-Call: Participation in the on-call rotation is a requirement of this position. It is anticipated that an incumbent in the position would be on-call approx. once every eight (8) weeks for two (2) weekdays per month and one (1) weekend. Job Description: A Registered Nurse for Home Infusion inserts, monitors and removes an IV used to give medications, blood products and nutrition to a patient. During the IV therapy, the nurse monitors the patient for adverse reactions and ensures that the tubing, bandages and needle stay in place. When a patient needs blood levels checked, an IV nurse performs a veinous phlebotomy. During the entire IV therapy process, the nurse obtains sets of vital signs, completes the physical assessment and review of systems, documents all patient-related activities and records the medications they use. Provides and coordinates all aspects of staffing services to the patient with the assistance of the Company Directors, Nursing Coordinator and the Director of Nursing. Communicates with the patients to determine problems and/or solutions regarding their treatment. The Per Diem RN also conveys collected documentation from patient to all necessary internal and third-party external staff regarding scheduling and other pertinent patient information. Performs a variety of duties both clinical and nursing notes documentation. This position requires skill in planning, organizing, scheduling and coordinating the delivery of patient care by all staff personnel including but not limited to complete documentation of nursing care and submission of nursing notes. Position Overview The Managing Director of Schools (MDs) is a senior member of the KIPP CAP Regional Leadership responsible for the superior performance of schools in the regional portfolio, directly managing the overall portfolio of schools, principals, and initiatives that impact the education of future graduates. Goals and Milestones The Managing Director of Schools will be responsible for meeting the following ambitious goals. Goals subject to change based on the needs of students and regional priorities: Academics • 70% of students passing the state test in Reading & Math, • 85% of K-2 students at or above benchmark on mCLASS, • 90% Student Retention from Fall to Fall, • 95% Average Daily Attendance, • 100% of teacher roles filled by the first day of school Duties/Responsibilities Managerial Leadership and Team Development • Manages 3+ School Principals across the Region., • Supervises the Principals in creating and implementing their school plans and priorities and managing schools to region wide benchmark goals., • Develop trusting relationships with the School Principal and consistently receive high quality transformational development that increases their effectiveness and outcomes at their schools., • Provide senior instructional leadership within the region, supporting technical skill building, continuous improvement, and impressive results for schools academically, culturally, and in human capital practices., • Coach and develop principals and SLT members to achieve proficiency on 90% of One KIPP School Leadership Levers., • Collaborates with the Chief Schools Officer, Director of Leadership Development, and the Regional Team to deliver effective professional development to Principals, including planning and delivering effective Professional Development., • Engage in collective learning in service of creating excellent schools, feel a sense of belonging, and are sustained in the work., • Supports the development of Principals in designing and leveraging their secondary leadership teams and establishing an effective operations partnership., • Serves as a thought partner to direct reports as they lead their respective teams; coaches and supports direct reports to address their key roles and responsibilities., • Supervises Principals in creating and implementing effective professional development opportunities for their teams., • Completes tri-annual performance evaluations of direct reports: BOY, MOY, and EOY., • Supports the development of School Instructional Teams and successor leaders across all schools., • Effectively support and develop Principals to ensure they are implementing their academic strategies (regionwide and school-based) and all aspects of the talent strategies, and support Principals in implementing their school priorities in alignment with the KIPP Capital Region academic vision, mission and strategic plan., • Build and execute strategy, motivate others to make change, and invest and build relationships with other stakeholders to support the ambitious academic outcomes of our schools., • Support and coach Principals to meet regional performance metrics and to ensure that regional policies/procedures are implemented at the school level., • Develop and manage instructional initiatives within the region and effectively partner with MDs of School Operations to support School Leaders in meeting their schools' instructional and operational needs., • Collaborates with the Chief Schools Officer and Director of Leadership Development to implement academic priorities and ensure vertical alignment among schools., • Works with Principals to develop and implement long-term curriculum, assessment, and school improvement plans., • Collaborate in hiring, onboarding, management, and evaluating all staff, including Principals and school-based instructional and culture teams., • Plan and lead regular professional development sessions for the Principals, Instructional and Culture communities., • Ensures that the Principals have a clear plan for improvement of Instruction and School Culture., • Engages Principals in weekly academic program analysis and progress monitoring., • Manages long-term and annual school planning., • Build and execute strategy, motivate others to make change, and invest and build relationships with other stakeholders to support the ambitious academic outcomes of our schools., • Collaborate with fellow Managing Directors of School to ensure consistent implementation of operations priorities across all schools., • Strategically prioritize their time to focus on driving school outcomes and are sustained in the work., • Focus on building management capacity and ensure that all of our regional leaders are well equipped and on track to meet goals, additionally they are able to plan to reallocate resources as appropriate to meet the needs of the region., • Provide Principals with personalized guidance, support, and resources from cohesive regional systems that allow them to prioritize instructional leadership and meet their school’s needs effectively., • Partner with regional support teams on all region-specific initiatives and systems., • Serve as the liaison between school and regional teams to identify issues and implement sustainable solutions., • Help formulate and implement a region-wide operations strategy and key data analysis events calendar., • Leverage data strategically to support principals in meeting their goals and improving student and school outcomes., • Drive goals and use data in making decisions, providing in-depth POSITION SUMMARY Epsilon is seeking part or full-time Senior Scientists/Project Managers tosupport our growing ecological sciences practice in New York. The Senior Scientist will plan for and coordinate efficient environmental and regulatory review and permitting of projects, including Articles 15 and 24, 94c, NYSDPS Article VII and X, as well as other applications to federal, state, and local agencies. Ideally, the Senior Scientist/PM will also be knowledgeable of the utility/energy markets including demonstrated environmental permitting, project management and general environmental experience in wind, solar, linear facility licensing and permitting, and traditional energy sectors. The position demands a proven ability to manage medium to large scale projects, understand and apply environmental regulations, develop schedules and budgets, mentor staff and communicate clearly and effectively to the agencies, public and client. The Senior Scientist represents the company as the technical expert on environmental, siting, and permitting matters at public meetings, workshops, and meetings with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as other stakeholders. The candidate must demonstrate excellent writing skills. In addition to the above, the Senior Scientist will participate in complex wetland resource area delineations and oversee staff completing large scale delineation efforts, and other ecological field work, wetland mitigation site design, construction period erosion and sediment control inspections and reporting. Additionally, the Senior Scientist will support the scoping, preparation, and execution of biological, geological and other scientific studies; and review reports and documentation prepared by subject matter experts. The Senior Scientist will conduct environmental inspection and monitoring to ensure compliance with environmental requirements of permits/licenses.
