Job Description LOD Staffing has openings for Accounts Payable & Payroll Administrator Location: San Antonio TX 78205 Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:45am – 4:30pm Compensation: $45.53/hr Position Overview The Accounts Payable and Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring vendors and employees are paid accurately, on time, in the most efficient manner possible and in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Performs highly complex and technical accounting and administrative work. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Oversees and coordinates all activities and functions for areas of responsibility to include accounts payable, travel, payroll, and time administration., • Oversee the process for disbursement of payments to vendors and employees in accordance with client policies and procedures and sound financial practices., • Ensures the integrity, timeliness and accuracy of payroll and time transactional data by performing high level validations., • Ensures compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting payroll as well as adherence to acceptable accounting guidelines and standards., • Works closely with Procurement, Finance Operations and Information Technology’s SAP Production Support to define Standard Operating Procedures, Service Level Agreements, and process improvement initiatives., • Works in tandem with Procurement, Finance Operations and all client departments on appropriately establishing vendors in the client’s SAP system, and creating processes for vendor master data changes, communication and/delivery of purchase orders, invoices, and payments., • Acts as the liaison between departments, Human Resources, Risk Management and SAP Production Support on payroll and time related issues. · Must be able to pass a national background check and drug screening · Must have a valid Class C Driver’s License · Must have a HS Diploma or GED Equivalent · Must have a Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university Additional Skills Required · Knowledge of accounts payable regulations, requirements, and procedures. · Knowledge of auto procurement systems, payroll and ERP systems. • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles., • Knowledge of government/fund accounting., • Knowledge of management procedures and techniques., • Knowledge of banking and cash management policies and procedures., • Knowledge of contract administration procedures., • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and manage multiple priorities., • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively., • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Work Environment Work is in a professional office setting with standard business hours; however, extended hours may be required during payroll processing cycles, month-end close, or peak operational periods. This position requires: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, • Frequent use of accounting software, payroll systems, spreadsheets, and email platforms, • High attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment, • Regular interaction with employees, management, vendors, and external partners Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handling, reach outward, reach above shoulder, crawl, squat/Kneel, bend, push and pull frequently. Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on work surface., • Ability to use upper and lower extremities to move or transport 25 to 50 pounds, including pressing against something to force it in a forward, downward or outward position or drag, haul 25 to 50 pounds, • Ability to bend the body downward and forward by bending spine at waist, and bending legs at knees and moving extremities in any direction, • Ability to withstand physical demands on the body, including being in a stationary and/or standing position most of the day, • Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, including where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly, • Vision (near, distance) Labor On Demand, Inc. d.b.a.
