Responsibilties: A day in the life of a Occupational Therapist at Hackensack Meridian Health includes: • Prepares for the evaluation in accordance with department policies/procedures and standards of practice including obtaining patient history, exhibiting knowledge of patient diagnoses and researching unfamiliar diagnoses., • Selects and administers tests and measures. Overview Provides direct psychiatric evaluation, medical health assessment and intervention to clients admitted to Behavioral Health programs. Provides medication management and assessment on an ongoing basis. Provides consultation and education to other agencies and disciplines, including other VNS Health services.
